Rest In Peace Caylee Marie Anthony

I was captivated by the news of Caylee Marie Anthony's disappearance from day one, and devastated when her remains were found. Nothing prepared me, however, for the absolute despair I felt upon hearing the words, "Not Guilty."

As a mother of four, the youngest of whom is the same age as Caylee Marie, I know that Casey Anthony is "Guilty" of killing her sweet baby daughter. Tragically, the 12 men and women of the jury completely abandoned common sense in hastily rendering their decision.

While the verdict has left me heartbroken and disgusted, what's done is done.

Now my only hope is that the baby went peacefully and without pain;
my only wish is that the mother's Karma will deem her life a living hell; and,
my only prayer is that the entire family disappears without profiting a single cent from their sordid tale.

I find little comfort in the phrase, "she's in a better place," especially when it pertains to the death of a child. In this case, however, I know it to be true.

God bless you Caylee Marie Anthony. You will never be forgotten.
